Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 1, 2026

1. Who we are

ZENNA is operated by Anthony West Inc (“ZENNA”, “we”, “our”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use ZENNA and Nex, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is needed to provide ZENNA to you:

  • Account data: your email address and the identifier returned by your sign-in provider (for example, Google).
  • Conversation and memory data: messages you send to Nex and the memories Nex builds from them so it can remain useful over time.
  • Connected service data: if you choose to connect a third-party service (such as Google), we receive the data that service returns under the scopes you approve.
  • Basic technical logs: IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and debugging.

3. How we use Google user data

When you connect Google to ZENNA, we use the Google account information and any data returned under the scopes you approve to provide the features you have requested in ZENNA. That is the only reason we receive Google user data.

ZENNA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain English, that means:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you ask us to provide.
  • We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • We do not let humans read your Google user data, except where you ask us to, where we are required to for security or legal reasons, or after data has been aggregated and anonymized.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide or improve the features you have requested, for security, or to comply with the law.

We only request the minimum Google scopes needed for the features you have asked for. We do not claim or use scopes that are not implemented in ZENNA.

4. How we use your data

We use the data above to:

  • operate, maintain, and secure ZENNA;
  • authenticate you and keep your account safe;
  • provide the features you have requested, including Nex's persistent memory;
  • respond to your support requests; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data for advertising.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate ZENNA (for example, hosting and authentication providers), and only to the extent needed to deliver ZENNA to you. Those providers are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of users, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We will not transfer your data to a buyer or successor on terms less protective than this policy.

6. Disconnecting and deleting

You can disconnect a connected service at any time:

  • Google: revoke ZENNA's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, ZENNA stops requesting new data from Google.
  • Account: to delete your ZENNA account and the data associated with it, contact us at the address below. We will delete or anonymize the data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep it for legal or security reasons.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide ZENNA and meet our legal obligations. Conversation and memory data persist until you delete them or close your account.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

ZENNA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

ZENNA is operated from the United States. By using ZENNA, you understand that your data may be processed in the United States or other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, if the changes are material, give you reasonable notice.

12. SMS & text message data

When you opt in to receive text messages from ZENNA, we collect your phone number, message opt-in and opt-out status, and message delivery records. We use your phone number exclusively to deliver the SMS and MMS messages you consented to receive. SMS consent and phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. For full SMS program details, see our SMS Policy.
